Avoid having students watch videos at the same time on their laptops. The wireless network may not be able to handle the traffic.

Share videos by copying them to TeacherShare.

If you save a video to your desktop, it will be copied to the server the next time you sync. If the video is large, the syncing process can take several minutes. It is best to download videos to your Downloads folder, which does not get sync’ed.

Brainpop

Students select the School Help tab. Brainpop links will appear at the upper-right.

Brain Pop

You can enter a term in the search box to look for videos on a specific subject. A common activity is to give students a specific video to watch and then require them to get at least 8 (or 0 or 10) out of 10 on the quiz. If they do not get enough correct, they need to watch the video again.

Check out the Internet video. I suggest it to all the staff. Seriously.
